I've got rabs on my 124s. It's all I've ever ridden hardboot-wise, besides ski boots, and I'm confident that they help out alot. It really helps keep my toe-edge in the snow, whereas my heelside still gets a fair amount of chatter. Someday I'll get BTSs, but not today.
