Work and lack of snow really killed this season for me. I'm heading out for my final weekend of the season to a place I really don't know. Anyone have recomendations on Bretton Woods? I hear their cord is the stuff of dreams.
Anyone going to be around?

Bretton Woods is my home mountain, so I know it pretty well! I'm up there almost every week-end. The grooming, in my opinion, was awesome a few years ago. But has gone downhill a bit( no pun intended!) But it is still very good!
Bretton Woods is a very flat, but very fun mountain! West Mt. is where the steeper runs are. Waumbek, Starr King, Oscar Barron's, Josephs Run to Jacob's Ladder are all great groomed runs!
Off of the Mt Rosebrook Quad has my favorite trail/run. Start on the High Ridge trail which brings you to Zealand down to Perimeter down to Deception Bowl! That's the full run. But I love to do laps on Zealand! Upper Swoop to Sawyer Swoop is also a great run.
Off of the Bethlehem Quad, another favorite trail is Fayban's Express to Bretton's Wood. I don't like the Ben, Big Ben, Bigger Ben trail very much. It's an OK trail, but it is a green circle that ALL of the beginners hit.
Other trails that are a lot fun are Down N' Under, Coos Caper & Granny's Grit! But be warned, they don't make snow on these trails so most of the times they are not groomed. But when the are groomed, they are a blast!
Keep an eye on the temps! Pray and hope that the temps drop below 32* at night. Otherwise, they won't groom.
We should try and hook up when you're there! Keep in touch!

I don't think that I'll be around Saturday. But I may be up on Sunday. Are you around on Sunday or are you riding Friday & Saturday?
