Talk to me! How is Durango for carving? Looks like a nice place.

I've only been there a few times for races several years back. The nastar for slalom was a little short and the g.s. was quite fun. We seemed to have a lot of fun there out of the courses as well. You would do better if you could get some more recent info because so much depends on the grooming and it's been too long since I was there. The typical run there is flat to head wall to flat to headwall etc. etc.
I'm from Telluride and the carving can be great here and we are just a little further for you than Durango mountain ( purgatory ). Let me know if you are headed this way.

Tim

back when it was still called Purgatory, the nickname I heard a lot was "Flatatory"

tells you something.

if you're talkin live/ride...Durango the town is pretty nice, and I guess the hill would be good enough, but there are other places youd probably like a lot more!
