I am getting ready to order a pair of TD2s. What is the standard cant disc order 0/3 or something else? At some point when I was surfing the web I ran accross an article that explained what you needed, by your stance and how many fingers you could fit between your knees when standing straight up with ankles together, but now when I need it, I can't remember where it was ;-(. Is anyone familiar with where this article was or another means for determining what the right set of cant discs is to order with my first set of plate bindings?

I think they suggest to start out with 0/3 if you dont know what cant to use. I started out with 0/3. But its nice to try out many combination. I ended up with 3/0 that felt most comfortable for me.

rschneid,
Here is another good bit of info to add to cruiten's suggestions: http://www.alpinecarving.com/binding_setup.html#cant
Ultimately though, it is up to you. This year I went from using a 3f,3r to a 3f,6r and finally to a 0f,6r.
In other words, pick up some extra cant disc and experiment. Also, as your technique improves, you may find you like different combinations.
Enjoy.
