I like my smith premise better. It's good to actually get helmets out there for people to wear, but they're only useful if you wear them, you'll only wear them if they fit and you'll only know they fit if you try them.

I have a xl sized protech watersports helmet that fits me. At this price I'm taking the risk, I can always resell it or give it as a gift.

looks like a good deal, do they offer headphones like the Giro's have? I've got a Giro and like it a lot...especially the in ear pad phones. They sound better than most quality phones out there.

pro-tec does have some helmets with audio - just not sure they make them for this one.

They do makel audio helmets, but not this one. It does say here the earflaps are removable so you could monkey something in I bet.
I never knew they made so many kinds of helmets..reasonable too!

Cool, I like the low pro fit they have, my Giro males me look kind of like Toad from the Mario bros. I like the tunes just loud enough to be like supermarket background musik...but can still have conversations and hear turnaphobics approaching.

according to the Protec website the Ace is the only helmet that isn't audio force compatible. I've been waiting for a Andreas Wiig signature Protec Mercenary helmet to go on sale and SAC....My Boeri has served fine but it's 5 years old now and I'm starting to worry about the foam.

Be careful, it does not always work. I have a Giro Nine.9 that fits perfectly, but the Giro Fuse does not fit me nor do Giro bike helmets.
