Bought a new Dainesehelmet this year. It fits great. But the system to keep the goggles in place really sucks. I want to place a holder at the back of the helmet. Has somebody any idea to make a clip/system at the back of this helmet?
Thanks for solutions in advance.
Greets, Hans.

Maybe you could try to cut out sort of hook out of thicker (but flexible) plastic or metal (tin can?). The part of it would wrap around edge of helmet and go between liner and helmet's plastic/composite cap. The other part would stay outside at the back. You could shape it any how you want or mount to it some small belt (velcro, clipped e.t.c). The hook you could glue to the helmet with "cold weld" or any resin/comosite based glue that you could but in any home improvement store or auto parts store.
That's what came to my mind... I would do if I were you. Perhaps there are such aftermarket mounts available somewhere in the world. Any other ideas?
Just make sure not cut or drill holes in the helmet. That would not be a wise idea.

People were often giving me advice on my riding. "You don't commit to the edge" , "keep your shoulders squared", "stop waving your arms" , and the like. But I couldn't really hear anything because I use a motorcycle helmet with a special soft plastic (ski-specific) shell. Drilling two large ear holes was a must at this point. Has the helmet's integrity been compromised in any way you think?
