Mountain Creek Monday

I will be riding at MC on Monday morning from 8:00 A.M. to about noon with a few other carvers at the South Peak and Bear Peak. Hope to see you there.

Sharpen up!!! South was a block of ice yesterday and im sure Vernon can't be much better.They ought to trade one of the groomers in for a Zamboni.

Like ice. Unfortunatelly, my boards are not tuned to ice (dull now).

Anyway, after last accident on South Peak when approaching flats from expert trail on long GS board (I really don't like dumb families with kids riding accross fast trail for experts) I am not sure if I will visit MC for some time. On Bear Peak, they set those rediculuous signs "SLOW - or we will take your ticket...". I had a discussion with safety team member and he made stupid face not knowing what answer when I told him that I could show him how fast I could ride and still be in control. Anyway, you don't set such signs on black diamond trails... or organizers are idiots. That's how I rate managers at MC so probably some Safety Team supervisors there too. They simply ask for trouble by letting inexperience riders/skiers to more advanced trails under cover of "ride slowly".

That reminds me of some mom who used to say to his son pilot:

"My Dear Son, Fly at low altitude and very slowly". That was how she understood safety.

Anyway some people seem to have a lawyer in their skull in place of active brain.
