Hi

Looking to buy a 162 - 165'sh depending on brand.

I am going to be using soft boots and bindings.
Brand name or age is not important, as long as its a decent board in decent condition.

If you have (large) soft bindings for this that would be good as well. (size 10 foot)

Just looking to get started in carving and see if this is for me. So please keep it on the mid to lower end of the price range.

Please feel free to post here, or email me... Thanks. !!

Matt- I have some Ride Spi bindings for sale that are excellent soft bindings. They are listed in this classifieds under Freeride set-up / board or something to that effect (on page 2 last time I checked). The SPi is near the top of the Ride line-up, is aluminum construction (solid and stiff) and have very comfortable straps, padded highback, and cushioning material in forefoot and heel areas. Let me know if you want more info.

Thanks,
those are good bindings.
What are you looking at to seperate your setup?

I need to see what else is out here as well

I hadn't originally planned to split it, but if I know someone wants the bindings, I think I may be able to sell the board separately, or I may end up with the whole set-up on Ebay as a package. E-mail me to discuss price and if you want any pics of the bindings, etc. boyd0086 (a)t umn (dot) edu

I've got an Oxygen SX for sale that I use with soft boots. It's a great all mountain board, and it carves on a dime (for a non-alpine board, that is). I'm selling it for $250 usd. I've been using ride spis with 53 and 48 degree angles on it and if you're just getting into carving, it's a great board to work on technique.

By the way, I'm the first owner and I've only ridden the SX 2 dozen times, and it's the 2002-2003 model. Any other questions about it, feel free to e-mail me at mandarinmonkey@yahoo.com

Well, it might be a bit small for you then. It's a 157, and I weigh roughly 170. It might be a good board for you to learn on, but then again, it may be too short for you. I don't have any pics yet, I'll try to get some to you. But if you want to look at the board, you can see it at www.oxygensnowboards.com
