never used TD2s before so let me know if this looks weird...also this is skinnier than anything I've owned before...any opinions on whether I'll get any boot drag at these angles?

That the 158? Looks like the boot toe is over the edge, so ya, you will boot out when riding hard.

I want a 158 but I think I'm pushing the gear budget this year.

I think I'll ride it at these angles for the first few days then crank it up a little.

Now if we could just get some f'ing snow...

Ya.....those toeclips really are huge and the bails are shaped pretty wide. If you run high angles, it's not a big problem. If you use TD2 standard on wider boards with low angles, it gets ugly. :nono:
