This board is buffed. It is a '03-'04 vintage. It is NOT one of the House.com boards. It has a very nice flex and there are no marks of any kind on it.

Are the house boards somehow differant?

I missed the entire House board thing but a retailer, named House, picked up a close out on f2 boards and sold them on-line. Many people on BOL bought them and the boards are perfect. A few on BOL declared all of the "House" boards to be flawed and seconds. The truth is probably a few of the boards were flawed...but I have no first hand knowledge because I wasn't involved in any way.

I know my board to be very clean in every way and not a part of any perceived "sleazy" promotion. And, my board is a different vintage from the "House" boards. To my knowledge, there is very little difference between my board's vintage and the new ones but I'm sure someone on BOL could elaborate on that.

tminor's board is a model year prior to the ones the big H sold off.

My H board was perfect by the way - "0" flat base.
