Just a WAG here, but going by the graphics, I'm going to call mid-late 90's. probally 96-98ish. I'm probally wrong though.

Bob sez, more like 2000. he also sez the tails tend to delamm

yeah my experience with AL tailblocks is that unless they were about an inch or longer then induced more strain on the board than they saved the board from in the way of dings. Edging does about the same job with a ton less annoyance.

Aluminum tails are OK, except for those people that think because they are aluminum they can slam them on concrete, on ice, and wherever they please. Unfortunately, one good shock like that will start the delam process. Back then it was harder to get epoxy to stick to plastic, or the plastic was not flame or corona treated like today. Just treat them nicely, and they will be fine. Not as robust as today's boards though.

BTW, this looks like 1999 - 2000 vintage, came after the brownish topsheets and before the yellow/green striped topsheets. Oh, maybe even 1998, I remember I had a 1998 F150 and already had one of the striped topsheets! Production overlapped a bit I'm sure. Also, if I recall the "175" was a sticker, so it may have peeled off in carveitup's case. That was Rob Sydia's old board.

Willy, you're getting the locals mixed up!

yyzcanuck.com is yyz's site, still going strong with this year's F2 boards and Deeluxe boots (and Bomber bindings) the carveitup guys are a totally different bunch, their website kinda drifted off the edge.........

now I get it, cool stuff on yyz. Is phil fell making custom boards now ? http://www.felldesign.com/

Listen to YYZ on Moving Pictures sometime :biggthump
I'm listening to it in my head right now. It's the instrumental, right ? I saw the Moving Pictures Tour in Providence RI when I was 16 (and I'm almost 42 now) very vivid memory of that show. Red Barchetta on the video screen, pretty cool. Geddy is almost 60 now,I think. They were on HDtv not long ago. Alex put on some weight but still kills it.Neil has always been one of my fav drummers of all time.
I just got a Coiler , I want another Canuck carve stick :biggthump
