breckenridge conditions in April??

I'm planning on taking the family out to Breckenridge & Vail April
8 thru 13. And was wondering what the riding conditions normally
are like at that time of year? Were from the Cleveland, Ohio lowland area and the snow will be long gone by then here. Some
info from anybody would be great.

Once you get past mid-March, things can get pretty soupy and brown as the thaw-freeze-thaw-groom cycle is repeated and the temperature rises. If you stay on the upper portion of the mountain(s) you'll have better luck, but be prepared for that "sinking feeling" at the end of the day as you navigate the junk on the bottom of the hill.
