I rode my Rossi Throttle (mounted Monoski) today at Vail. Be carefull about how deep of a carve you try to do. I stuffed the nose several times today. Even the groomed is soft.

I have a season pass to loveland and mostly ride the weekends. If the snow is hard I will be out on a race board. If not I will be riding my freeride set up that will trench with most of the carvers that frequent loveland. I hope to see you up there sometime. I also mtb with Evergreen mtn as my back yard. Maybe we can pedal sometime also.

Infact, if my edges touch the snow, It'd be too slow.

These days I'm into going down flat, no edges, full tuck. Maybe a little twist of the baord to use a 1/4of my edge authority.

Either that or moguls and trees all day. But I doubt much of that is open yet.

Hey Derek,
We keep running into pat up there, but I haven't seen you yet. I would like to make some turns with you this season. Pete's in argentina, so the crew has been down a member. I will be up on sunday and I think D.t. and Shelly will be up there to.

Awesome day today. Three shreding in softies (Inkaholic, Shelly and Jeff), four on plates (Bob, Snowboardsfast, big mario and I). Good group, lots of fun was had, especially since we essentially had an entire run to ourselves. :D

I might be able to make it out there next monday or tuesday. I don't know much about those resorts(haven't been there). But I think I get free passes to vail, loveland, perhaps copper and a bunch of others I don't know about. If anybody wants to recommend, or meet up, at some place I'd be all for it.

well my pass is for breck/keystone/vail/BC usually dont go to vail cause of the distance unless the conditions are really great. try to save those days for when I get a deal on lodging.

Next tuesday. I am probably going to go ski with ski patrol tuesday, and I have to go talk to maintenance(I'm looking into my next job, can't be a lifty forever although I do love it). I liked keystone alot, and Breck is pretty cool(been there a bunch). I have never been to Vail, and I honestly don't know what BC is. I will be around all season though, so I'm all for checking them all out.
