I don't have the Factory numbers but I gave it A shot. N 9 3/4 in, W 7 11/16 in, T 9 3/8 in. Very good shape ,binding marks, A couple small scratches all half inch at most. I estimate 15 days or less. Thanks for all the interest I think I will put it on Ebay as soon as I get some picks of it.

7 11/16" is a 195mm waist. Judging by the tip and tail dimensions I would say thats' about a 16 meter SCR. OK, OK I cheated and looked at the specs online.

dano
October 20th, 2006, 07:52 AM
I was wondering the same thing. Maybe he towed it behind a combine?

My guess is it might top out around $250 or so on ebone...unless oldsnowboards switches to PBR, of couse.

I'm going to make a light out of it. $350 light.

bobdea
October 20th, 2006, 10:11 AM
250 plus shipping easily maybe more, and I'll offer the same on ebay but the thing is with all the fees on ebay then if I pay by credit card the seller gets allot less because of the ebay cut
I promiss that the winner is gonna be one of the bomber people, look at who is bidding on it now, all of us

Im out. I bid on a whim.

tis true the ebay thing. Seller was kinda sketchy about that...but hey...generate interest and then post it on THE site to get the most exposure possible. Makes sense.

I just dont feel like much of a man without a 190+ board.

I sometimes get caught up in the "bigger is better" commonly seen here, but then I remember that sometimes I find that my 9.5 m radius is big for carving tight slopes.

As far as price let me know at my e-mail what you think. I was going to trade it to Bordy but he ( fell asleep ) and have not herd back from him, if you have a board I might be interested in toss it out here.
I have, f2 176, 173, 186, Madd 170, 180, Mistral 174, hot blast 168, and some asym's.
My 196 has been stone ground once and has gone out aprox. 20 to 30 days.

Three F2 196 all in Cleveland. And you might as well add all of the United States. The one on Ebay is one that Helmut Karvlow was brokering A deal for without my knowledge. I just thought I would do whats in my best intrest. After all I do own one of three in Cleveland and to the best of my knowledge the United States shoot you might even add Canada to the mix. I can ship there also for the going rate. Ok no more commercials. Bottom line this is the real deal the 196 is hard to come by. If you get mine or one of the other two you will have one of three on our side of the pond. And when you lay it down like Helmut Karvlow can its the best fealing in the world. PS I must give thanks to Shred Gruumer without him I would not have the pleasure of riding this work of art. It is because of him I lived the pleasure of 196!

Helmut Karvlow

Helmut, I can only sell my board. Yes it is up for sale on ebay and close to the reserve. I was thinking trade but mine is so cleanI was afraid what I received would not be. Good luck handling all the emails.

PS, Who was riding the M6 with Variplates??

I don't think anyone actually rode it. We always joke about taking runs on "Retro" gear, so I usually drag the M6 along for the ride.

It's kinda hard to strap on the old '90's gear when you have tents full of new gear to ride.

I do however usually ride in the old day-glow Quicksliver jacket for at least a day. It doesn't affect my riding too much..... :o

Oh, and that is Mark wearing the BEAVER (mtn.) shirt.

If all else fails, have one custom made by donek, coiler, or prior. All three of these companies will make anything you want. Any waist width, any stiffness. Donek even has a mold for a 228cm super, super GS board. Check out their site. If you're paying in sterling it might even seem like it's cheap.

Currently in Molln, Austria, from what I recall. They haven't been in Germany for years. I did a quick search and found this interesting History blob from when B&M Group was formed (when Mistral, F2, and Fanatic merged). It only goes up to 2000, so I'm not sure what has changed since then. Interesting read, though.

History
http://www.boards-and-more.com/english_neu/frameset/content/Bilder/auf.gifB&M Group

The Boards & More AG was set up in 2000 and resulted initially from the merger of three players competing in the action sports industry: Mistral, F2 and Fanatic. As a result of this acquisition, B&M became the world leader in the windsurfing market as well as the leading distributor in the European snowboard business. B & M has also established itself as the No 2. Global player in the Kiteboarding market, which has been seeing a steady increase over the last few years.

As of August 1st, 2003, the Swiss KJ Jacobs AG has sold it’s windsurf, kite and snowboard company, Boards & More AG to an investor team led by Yves Marchand.

Today, B&M is an international enterprise, with its main subsidiaries in Molln, Austria and Oberhaching, Germany. Product designing, purchasing, logistics, international and national sales, as well as customer service for the worldwide market are controlled from these locations. To these activities are added central services such as IT, finance and accounting, as well as human resources. Worldwide sales are carried out via a network of company-owned sales enterprises, agents and importers all over the world.
