So I found some boots in the basement, I thought I parted with a few years ago actually. At any rate, i guess not. These have a pricetag still visible on them, new in '97. Shell 25.5 - 27 Liner 26.5. I never took to carving, been in these 5 times tops. Make your respectful offer if interested, I dont expect much, I'm in St. Paul if pickup is important.
thanks-

I still use these boots. The liner is so-so (thin in the bottom), but these boots are indestructable. Some racers still use them (I think?) for this same reason.

I had $50 in mind so that sounds fair. Did you want to pickup? I imagine another $15 tops would cover shipping just about anywhere...

Just a general question, I found old Buron Furnace and dont remember what size I bought in. Your Burton Furnace is 25.5-27 shell?? what does that mean? I remember buying it in 27 but I am not sure how Burton classifies their size. Please let me know how buront classify their boots size??

It mean that Burton were making one size of shell (25.5 to 27) for all four different sizes of liner (25.5-26-26.5-27) to fit in

185er,
not exaclty, fin explained it in carving comunity forum. it means that this part of the boot fits all marked sizes. the lower shell is usually made for two sizes i.e. 26-26.5, and the only difference is the liner.
