OK guys, check this one out. I'd buy it myself but I really don't need another board. Especially one this long!

Wow, that's stupid cheap. $20 says it gets snapped up quick and shows up here on BOL later this season at a 100% markup...

wow

anyone who was watching that board and didnt bid right away is a fool unless they had a legit reason like tcross.

$125 for a never ridden WCR 185. Looks like an older one, but a damn fine board/deal.

I would have bought it just to resell for a profit! :eplus2::lol:

A fool, huh? Ouch! And here I thought I was trying to help out someone who could truly appreciate it.
And Yeah, I thought about buying it and reselling, but I thought it would be a little smarmy.
I only hope whoever got it is a hardbooter who will enjoy the board. I will, however, keep my eyes open to see if it reappears either here or again on Ebay.

Well there was just the one picture, it is from the years when Prior had issues with topsheet delams, and by the time anyone could have verified with the seller what the actual condition was (other than "good"), it was gone. So I don't feel too foolish.

Ted! I wasn't calling YOU or anyone specific a fool. Neil has a point...could have been shoddy condition, but I dont see how a board is gonna delam that has never been ridden

my only point was, people are so caught up in trying to save $5 by bidding at the very very last second.

awww screw it...ebay is such a point of contention across the board it cracks me up.

but I say POST EM UP, all day long, especially if it is something I am selling (I will actually have a WCR 185 up soon!)

Crave2carve, I'm well aware of the controversy over letting people know about Ebay auctions. This, however, was not what I consider a true auction but had a ridiculously low "Buy it now" price. I felt that since the fine folks here would not be competing against each other and hence driving up the price, I was justified in telling the community that there was something of interest to be had. Maybe I was wrong. Next time I'll do as D-sub suggests and buy it myself only to sell it later at a profit.

I spoke with the guy before he sold the board. The board was not even a Buy it now and he decided to sell it as a BIN when i showed some interest.

The thing is: that board was quite well used as I understood..... he got it from a friend who rode it 3-4 seasons or so... Could not give much info on the overall condition though...

Am I stupid if i decided not to buy it ?? :smashfrea hehhehe I have some regrets now but already have 2 boards at home....

The best price for ANY board is one where the dealers wont buy (no profit) and the end user feels that it is still a good deal. Just a thought.....

C2C - quit being so philosophical! :D

I had one of those exact boards a few seasons ago and I rode it twice. Stupid stiff. I had no problems selling it.

I was poking around on e-bay earlier this evening and saw this board, and the low BIN price. I also live in BC and could probably get away with no shipping charges if I wanted to. But two thoughts went through my head. 1. If it looks too good to be true, most likely it is. 2. Most of prior's non-custom / shop sold boards are a little on the thick side in the waist, I like a nice 180mm waist. So I'm not crying in my beer that I never jumped on it. I hope it is all that the buyer expects from it. I don't have any problem with people posting e-bay stuff here. I think that it helps more than it hurts. I would rather see someone new to the sport get a decent deal on a deck than see some miserable board hoarder with a 20 board quiver buy it so he can jack the price up and try to sell it here.:nono:

You can count on Big Daddy to jack it up, Jack.
