I have seen quite a few people wearing glomming gear wrist guards w/ the thumb guard. But now i can't find them online?
the website doesn't work, does any one know where they went?
This was the only info i could find?

BTW, I highly recommend them. I bought an extra pair when I thought they were closing down.

IMO - over the glove gaurds can act like a catcher's mit if you palm the snow. Not too much of a problem on a toe but this can throw you off balance on a heel.

Yea, there was some guy who bought like 6 pairs of them at the sale price and then was trying to sell them at full price for a profit(posted on a forum and a newsgroups).

another option would be to buy a rigid wrist splint WITH thumb spica. That would immobilize the thumb and help prevent injury to it. You could wear it under the mitts and not catch the snow. Price wise should be quite similar.
