Hi,

I'm looking for a wide (23-24cm) all mountain similar to a Donek Incline, Madd BX, 164-168 length, 9-11scr. Anything in your quiver you want to pass on? I'm a new boarder on the East coast looking to step out of my freeride board. The plates just make it too soft. Wanting something transitional -- not ready for a narrow alpine board esp. with my mondo 30 feet.

Thanks,
Michael

FS Salomon FRS-165 w/TD1 step-ins. It's an older BX board, but is one of the fastest boards I've been on. It rides and handles very well. They don't make this board anymore and I've heard a number of people wish they still did...including my local Salomon rep.

I have a Volkl Cross 167 in good condition for $150 shipped. Plenty of life in the board - loads of camber. Topsheet has some chips and a few scratches in the base - nothing a base grind wouldn't take care of. Great board but I just don't ride it. Perfect for railing on. Send me an email if your interested.

If you're willing to part with the cash, Pogo's Freecarve/BX boards and Longboard snowboards work perfectly. They last longer than anyone has the patience to measure and perform beautifully. There is definately benefit in investing in a high end board. Once youve made the transition, the longboard can be used for powder days once you move on to a true alpine board, so it'll still be serving its purpose long after you learn to carve.
