Last minute, I know, but for those who are antin' for deep powder, head up to here. 30 inches last 24 hours. 80 inches past 5 days. :biggthump headin' down there as of tonite from Vail. Hope to see some of youse out there. Will be riding Lib Tech 172 Litigator with the icon of thumbs up like this one -- :biggthump

Awww man. Wish I woulda had a little more notice on this. They got 50" since Tuesday!

It's only 4 hours drive for me too...

Let me know if anybody else goes out there for the remainder of the season.

P.S. Wolf Creek doesn't groom much. It's more backcountry/trees stuff.

Oh man. It was insane. My "rarely-seen-in-sunlight" big gun snowboard even sunk! Was way too too too deep, man--waist deep. Otherwise, it was fun! :)

Went yesterday, 14" of fresh on a very nice base, outstanding riding -- and people are already talking about spring :)

It's snowing in Salida right now, Monarch reported 6" of new, so this should be a very good week.

id go if they get another big dumping, but boy are they down there, dont think i could drive down and back in the same day

well, i slept overnight at wolf creek lodging. it's pretty reasonable accomodation.
