View Full Version : board racks, part deux- gear on the go

How do folks deal with multiple boards in their trucks & suv's. Rather than use a rooftop rack or enclosed shell I toss my gear in the back of my Explorer. Until now with just my GF & I (3 boards, 2 set skis) it works OK. But now I'm thinking of making some kind of an inside rack to keep stuff neat and avoid damage, allow snowmelt to drain, etc. Perhaps most importantly, keep the knife edges from flying around and slicing us up should we have a driving accident.

Anybody got any slick inventions?
