anybody know any good places to ride in Italy? I'm going over there in March to visit my girlfriend, and was hoping to get a few days in somewhere in the alps.

I've never been, but I have friends that say Cortina is really, really good.

Well, If you like some racetracks/carvetracks, these pistes are an option:

This slope is 19 in Livigno (the same but in the morning)

Breuil Cervinia is also a nice place to stay, but slopes are mostly blue, not very steep.
Cheers, Hans and have a good time in Europe.

Hi!
Livigno is nice. But if you have the opportunity to go to Cortina - Do it! This is really old fashioned winter. Everything a little different. Sophisticated. Not much party - but style. And beautiful slopes and mountains. Try to stay in the "Hotel de la Poste". One of the best places to stay in the alps. This is the old-Europe ;-)
Best regards
