The ATV Split is a go-anywhere-do-anything directional alpine splitboard. Its waist width, sidecut and shape are all specially designed to provide hard-boot splitboarders with the best backcountry experience possible.

Riders The ATV Split is designed specifically for hard boot splitboarders, regardless of ability. Prior has 15 years experience handcrafting boards for hard boot alpine riders of all descriptions; we also have 6 years experience producing splitboards in various shapes and sizes…the ATV split is a culmination of this know-how and allows hard-booters a whole new world of exploration on equipment designed just for them.

Ride A versatile, fun, alpine splitboard ride that is silky smooth and responsive.

Conditions An excellent ride in all backcountry conditions including the softest, creamiest champagne powder you can find.

Design Shape: The ATV splitboard is a split version of our solid ATV. It features a comparatively longer nose and wider waist width than our 4WD for additional float in the powder.
Turning radius: Moderate for easy turning edge-to-edge control.

Flex: Moderately stiff underfoot; the flex softens gradually towards the tail to allow for pop and power. From the front foot the flex gets progressively softer towards the tip creating an excellent yet powerful powder ride while maintaining edgehold and torsional strength when you are required to negotiate through hard pack conditions.

Strength: SOLID. All Prior boards are built to last. For winter 2007 we have adopted a new epoxy system and added shatterproof UHMW sidewalls resulting in our strongest boards ever.
